26 – 27 October 2023 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia.

I was an invited speaker at the workshop on preparation for a PhD for 30 participants of the UMS new academic staff in preparing their PhD study. I enjoyed delivering the session, as the participants were very active and engaged with the topic. I have shared my knowledge (even though mine is still limited) on how to generate research questions, conduct literature reviews, and construct research procedures. From this workshop, I value much the opportunity to network with other scholars (I happened to know a few experts from Universitas Mercu Buana Jogjakarta) and lay out a few future collaborations FSDK, UMK with UMS and UMB Jogjakarta.
